This is the dress I wore on my 1st birthday! There is a picture of me in this dress on a rocking chair. We had Emily's picture (professionally) made with this dress on a chair. At Ella's 1 year picture, I totally forgot about this dress. So, I decided to take pictures of it with my new camera. I think a few turned out cute. Sorry the background isn't the best, but wanted to see how they would turn out at home.

By the way, I put numbers on there so my parents can decide which one they want as a 8 x 10. ;)

1st Cheese Dip

Emily LOVES cheese dip (and so do I unfortunately). Ella had a small taste of it when we went to lunch this weekend. She isn't so sure just yet.

AR Gymbacks

We finally were able to go to the Gymbacks last Friday! We've been wanting to go all season, but the icy weather has not allowed us to go. We had a great time and met Emily's friend Lily there.

Happy Valentine's Day!

My mom made these cute shirts for the girls for Valentine's day. Cita and Poppy watched the girls Saturday night while we went out to dinner (at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse). It was probably the best meal we've ever had and it helped with the nice gift card we received for Christmas (thanks Cita and Poppy!!!).

I left my camera for my parents and they took some cute pictures of them while we were gone.

Getting their Valentine's treats Sunday morning. They also one present each, but had already opened them before I remembered the camera. Ella got a cute piano with a microphone and she loves to talk (and "sing") with it. I have a movie of it! Emily got a Disney princess cash register.

Hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day! Roy and Emily left early Sunday morning and brought back donuts for us (and roses)! I got a box of chocolates and a gift certificate to a spa! I can't wait to use it! We had a wonderful day together!

Valentine's School Party

Ella doesn't suck her thumb, but it was the only picture I got of her in her Valentine outfit that day. :)

I stopped by Emily's school real quick before work last week to see Emily at her Valentine's party. They also made scarves that day, but I had to leave before they did the craft. She had a great time and got lots of goodies in her Valentine bag.

Sisters

I got their pictures made at Picture People when Ella was probably 3 months old in these outfits. It was a 6-9 month outfit, but Emily HAD to match her sister and wanted to wear them for her photos. I was going through Ella's clothes to see what to sell and came across this one. I thought I'd try it on her to see if it still fit. The shirt is a little short, but he pants still fit. They had a fun time and Emily had to get her dress again too. Oh yes, check out Ella's shoes. She's very proud of them. She picked them out (with the help of Emily) on the day she had her 12 month shots. It helped her feel much better. She loves walking in them. :)

Birthday Parties

Birthday party for Emily's friend Elizabeth. It's hard to believe these girls are turning FIVE soon! They've all known each other since around age 1 and it's sad to think they will be in real school next year. We had a great day with everyone!

In the middle of all our snow days, we have been to a couple of birthday parties. Emily's good friend, Elizabeth turned 5 the 1st of Feb. We had a great time at her party. Ava's 3rd birthday was last weekend. Emily and Ella had a great time with her!
