Fun Day!

It is my Spring Break this week (last week was Emily's), so I wanted to do something fun these days and I am not doing any paperwork. I really wanted to go to the Safari in Gentry, but we got rained out last Saturday. We picked Emily up from preschool and thought about going. We had everything ready, but noticed the clouds moving in as we were getting gas. boo hoo! We decided to go to the new Carousel at the Promenade instead. Thank goodness Emily had a great time and didn't get too upset about not seeing the animals. They also had a little train there and she loved getting to ride on that! We had ice cream at the Dairy Queen in the food court, then headed home before the storm. What a nice afternoon. I also was able to make my aerobics class. I can't wait to go to Silver Dollar City the next nice weekend! We have season passes this year!!!

Mad Pizza and The Little Gym

On Wed., we had the day free so I decided to go try out Mad Pizza since Emily really wanted pizza for lunch. There was a mom's group that was meeting at the Little Gym that afternoon as well. I had been wanting to see what the Little Gym was like. Emily loved it, but thought it was a "baby gym" for baby Ella. haha! She loves gymnastics in the big gym. ;) I loved the Little Gym. It was so clean, bright, and it looked like a lot of fun for them. I wish it was closer so that I could take them more. It was a free demonstration that day.

It's Spring!

It's finally spring and the rain has already begun. Yuck! Emily and I got soaked today when I picked her up from preschool. Ella is having more wakeful periods and loves to smile at us! She is such a sweetie. She's doing a little better at night. She actually slept 8 hours straight this weekend (of course on a night when neither one of us had to work the next day, but I'll still take it). It might snow this weekend- WHAT????

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

On St. Patrick's Day, Emily was out for Spring Break. We met some friends at the park and Cita even joined us for a picnic. We had a fabulous day and the weather was so beautiful. Cita got to hang out with us all afternoon too. Emily LOVED that!

Look Who's 2 Months Old!

Ella went to her first restaurant tonight! We had a great time and she slept the entire time! ;)

We can't believe that Ella is already 2 months old! She is getting a little personality now. She is so sweet and likes to smile at us. She adores her big sister already! She is cooing and starting to laugh. She loves to get her diapers changed and mommy to dress her (Yay!). She is now out of her newborn clothes and in 0-3 month clothes, plus size 1 diapers. Ella does not like the pacifier which can be good or bad... I think we will have to break out some of the 3-6 month clothes next month! Hopefully, the weather will warm up again soon. She will be baptized next month a couple of weeks after Easter.

Emily loves the park!

Here she is at the park loving the warmer weather and sunshine! Here's the cute dress cousin Kay gave her. I couldn't wait for the weather to warm up so she could wear it!

It was beautiful last Thursday and Friday. She was able to wear this sundress that Emily wore when she was her age. I will have to compare some photos at some point. I see lots of similarities, but Ella does have her own look.

Here's some random pics of Ella at 7 weeks. She'll be 8 weeks old tomorrow and 2 months at the end of the week. Time sure flies! She is starting to coo and smile a lot. I heard her laugh twice today! She's very peaceful during the day. We are still working on getting her to sleep more at night. She had two good nights last week, but I think it was due to her shots. She usually sleeps about 3 hours at a time. She would sleep better if we hold her, but we are trying hard not to do that this time. :)

Ella's dr. appt.

Ella had her 2 month doctor's appt. a little early. She weighs 10 lbs. 7 oz and in the 75th percentile, 21 1/2 in. and in the 25th %ile for height. She got her shots on Tuesday, so she hasn't been feeling well since then. I hate seeing my baby get shots. I've been very busy (and tired) this week due to children's consignment sales, etc. so I haven't been able to take many pictures.
