Beautiful Day

Emily was eating a popsicle!

Uncle Jeff stopped by to see us last night! Emily really enjoyed spending some time with him.

Today was just gorgeous! I wish I had my camera with me while we were outside. We got to see Pearce, Elijah, and Ruth today. Then, we headed to the park some. I actually got a little exercise today too. I'm counting down the days until my gym membership starts back (March 1st)! I go back to work tomorrow and Friday. yikes! I'm not ready, but will like the paycheck again. :)

6 week check-up

My 6 week check-up was yesterday and Ella had to be beautiful to see Dr. Partridge again! This is one of my favorite "warm" outfits for her.

Go Gymbacks!

At home showing off her Razorback and baby sister!
Whoo Pig Sooie!

Lily getting her heart painted on her face.

Emily wanted a Razorback on her face.

We had so much fun at the Gymbacks meet this Friday with Lily! Emily had fun eating popcorn, getting her face painted, and calling the hogs! We hope to make it again!

Thanks Uncle Matt and Aunt Neha!

The finished dog and her puppy. Look at her shoes and leash!
She was so excited to give the dog a bath!

Uncle Matt and Aunt Neha sent Emily a gift certificate to Build-A-Bear for being in their wedding. We took her there a couple of weeks ago. She wanted a pink monkey before we went in the store, but saw the cutest dog (with a little puppy) that she wanted instead. She picked out a Cinderella dress and shoes for her dog "Snoozy" too! What a fun gift! Thank you so much!

Reality TV

Any American Idol fans out there? This is going to be a good season! I'm not sure if I like picking only 3 out of each group. I'm very excited the Danny and Alexis made it through. I was kind of hoping Anoop would have made it or the guy who sang 2nd (can't think of his name). I'm hoping Kris Allen from AR is great next week!

I also find myself watching The Bachelor yet again this season. I think Jason is such a cutie! I am hoping he picks Melissa.

Birth Announcement

Here is Ella's birth announcement. They turned out soooo cute! Thanks to Anita for designing them for me, but we took the pictures. I've had tons of people ask where I got them and here is her website:http://www.apieceofpope.blogspot.com/. I may use her for Emily's birthday invitations this year too.

Valentine's Parties

Lily, Bess, and Fiona having fun!
Emily was a little shy about me being there that day. :O)

The other Emily wanted me to take her picture. She was too cute!

Eating their snacks.

Ella all dolled up of course!

Caleb and Emily at Fun City!

Emily giving her valentine a lollipop! We went to a Valentine's party at Fun City with the Mom's Club Wed., then I helped host her Valentine party at school. We had a great time both days.

One Month Old!!!

Ella is one month old today (Friday the 13th)!!!! It's hard to believe it has already been a month since our precious little girl was born. I'm going to try to take a picture of Ella with her bear every month to see how she grows.

Her cord fell off Wed, Feb. 11th (the day after I took her to the doctor about it-haha).

Happy 4 Weeks Old!

Ella is 4 weeks old today! I can't believe it. She weighs 8 lbs. 12 oz. She must be going through a growth spurt because she's been very hungry the last 2 days. Her cord hasn't fallen off yet, so I took her to the dr. thinking it might be infected. The dr. said it looked fine and her lungs sounded clear too.

Feeling Better!

She fell asleep in this position too. SO cute! We just love her to pieces.
This picture is hilarious. She's chillin while I was drying my hair.

Emily and Ella "had" to wear pink dresses today (Emily's request).

Ella is feeling so much better this weekend!!!! We have not needed to give her the inhaler for 24 hours. She still coughs every now and then, but nothing like it was earlier in the week. I am so thankful that Roy was still off last week to help me out. He goes back to work tomorrow, so I hope I can make it alone. :) I will go back to work in a couple of weeks (I only work part-time right now).

Hendrix bound!

Ella's Hendrix shirt arrived in the mail today! Emily put hers on too! I might send the one of both of them for the newsletter. The shirt came with a cute note saying "see you in 17 years!".

3 weeks old and first illness :(

We captured a smile even though she didn't feel good.

The above 2 pictures were taken on Ella's first trip in the stroller and park. It was after the ice storm last weekend when the weather was nice (and before we knew she was sick).

There is a reason why I haven't been on here in a week. Ella has gotten sick already and she's only 3 weeks old. Emily had her first illness when she was about 9 months old, so this is very new to us. Everybody says it's because she has an older sibling. It's been a very difficult week, but she is finally starting to sound better. She tested positive for RSV, so sad! Everybody can't believe she wasn't hospitalized, but I guess the doctor didn't feel like she needed it. I will tell you that Roy has been a wonderful help and I'm so glad he's been off for a month. Ella is now feeling better, but still a little congested. It was so sad to put the little inhaler to her face during her treatments. I'm also finally recovered from the c-section. I had a lot of issues at first with an allergy to the adhesive bandages, infection, then drug allergy to the antibiotics. It was not fun, but I'm finally better! I started walking yesterday and can't wait to get back to the gym in about 3 weeks!!! I'm hoping to lose this baby weight plus some now! Wish me luck. :)

Uncle Matt and Aunt Neha

Ella met Uncle Matt and Aunt Neha last Friday! They were in town from NC!!! It was great to see them and Ella really enjoyed meeting them. We hope to see them again soon.
