Crawling!!!

Ella is now officially crawling! She started getting the hang of it last weekend. She is into everything now, as well as trying to pull up some. I was not prepared for this at all! haha

1st home Razorback game!

These are a little late this week. Last Saturday was the first home Razorback game. Cita and Aunt Barbara got to go to the game and Poppy stayed here and watched it with us. Ella looked so cute in her Razorback dress and her onesie said "Fan Since Birth". Ella's been a little sick all week, with a cold, I think. She has not had a temperature and has congestion/runny nose. I don't think it is teething either. I hope she gets well soon! I am concerned b/c the flu/H1N1 flu going around, but I don't think she has this. It kind of scared me and I'm freaked out about germs now. She's also just on the verge of crawling. You can see her in the crawling position. She would rock like this and she will scoot forward some. I don't think I'm ready for a mobile baby yet. :)

Splish Splash

Ella was having such a fun time in her little bathtub the other night that I had to go get the camera. Don't worry, Roy was right there with her the whole time as you can see. I think we are going to have to graduate to her bath seat very soon since she is sitting up very well now.

This is Emily's new favorite activity: cooking!

She loves to be a big helper in the kitchen. Of course, making cookies and muffins are her favorite!

8 Months Old!

Ella is 8 months old already! I just don't know what life would be like without her!!!

I don't know her exact weight, but I'm guessing she is about 16 lbs. She's on the smaller side than most babies her age, but so was Emily. She is starting to really get an appetite and can hardly keep baby food stocked at home! She loves to nurse and has refused to drink from a bottle recently. That was not fun when mommy was away for the weekend. Daddy got very worried, but then gave her some apple juice and lots of food. I'm guessing she will have to go with us on our 10th year anniversary trip next month.

Ella loves playing with her toys, still loves the exersaucer and jumperoo. She rolls and rolls around the living room. She is starting to get up in the crawling position and rock. She will be crawling before we know it and I'm NOT ready. I just don't know where my little baby went. :( Although I miss the baby that would stay where you put her, I love seeing all the new things she is learning. She says "ma ma", "da da" and babbles many consonants. She's so much fun and loves to giggle!

New Toy

I've been so busy lately: going back to work, going/working at the children's consignment sales, etc... Emily picked out this gorgeous pink guitar and it is so cute hearing her sing. I got Ella the cute mirror/stage toy at sales and she LOVES it! She still loves the exersaucer and jumperoo though. She loves looking in the mirror and hitting the buttons to make the music.

Mommy's girl!

I came home from work today and Ella was so excited! She said "MA MA"! What a sweet girl! She's been babbling for about a month now.
