Some pics

I told Emily to hold daddy's birthday cake for a second to show him when he came home from work. I walked out of the room for a second and she had a little taste before it. Too funny!

We got to watch Caleb last week while his mommy was working on their new house. They had a blast together that day! We hope to see watch him (and Sydney) again soon

28 Week Appt.

I had my 28 week doctor's appt. yesterday. I'll tell ya, this pregnancy is flying by! She will be here before we know it. The appt. went well! The baby's heartbeat was 140, nice and strong! I think I skipped over my 24 week appt. on here, but that went well too (baby's heart rate was 144). The gestational diabetes screening came back good! Yay! I almost scheduled the c-section yesterday, but they didn't have the Jan. calendar up yet. Next month, we will have a date!!!! It kind of makes me nervous about "choosing" the birthday, but it will probably be whenever Dr. P is able to do it. The dr. thinks I need to decrease doing Body Combat. :( I LOVE that class, but it's hard doing kicks and everything now.

We have finished painting the room and have everything moved into the new room. My friend Andi is doing a painting and the wall letters for me, so I will post the room once it's finished! We also have a name picked out!

ELLA GRACE!

Ella: (Greek) means beautiful, fanciful
Grace: (Latin) means graceful

We've liked Ella all along, but Roy has been set on it since day 1. We went back and forth on the middle name. We wanted a family name, but nothing would really flow. I also had issues of hurting someone's feelings. I feel like it's God's grace that we've been given another child. Some of you know that I had infertility issues getting pregnant with Emily. They finally figured out the problem after over a year of going through lots of things. I also had a miscarriage a year ago, which was very tough. I had a d & c right before Mother's Day that year and this year, I found out I was pregnant around Mother's Day. I saw a frame last week that said "All of God's Grace In One Sweet Little Face" and it really struck my heart. So, I know this post is a lot of rambling.

Roy's birthday is today! He's having a great birthday dinner and cake too!

Butterfly Festival

Yes, we did finally capture a pic of a butterfly!

She LOVED going through this tunnel!

I have a similar picture last year when we came during the grand opening.

We checked out the butterfly festival that was going on at the Ozark Botanical Gardens. It was such a beautiful and we had lots of photo-ops. I'm posting a few of my favorites from the day. She loved the children's garden area the best. We saw lots of pretty butterflies (and yucky bees too).

Devil's Den

We went on our annual Devil's Den hiking trip recently with my parents. Emily actually got to hike this time. We didn't go too far, don't worry. I don't think I could have made it being 27 weeks pregnant. :) I didn't go up to the cave with them, but Roy said she really was curious about it.

Halloween Party

Dancing away with Jordan and Luke

Emily and Jordan (they would not look at the camera)

Last Friday, we went to a Halloween Party that the mom's group I'm in hosted. Emily has decided to be Tinkerbell for Halloween and was very excited to wear her costume! The wings did not last all night though. She had a great time with her friends Jordan, Luke, and Lily. They also had a cute cake walk, but we never won.

Field Trip

Emily went on her first field trip at preschool last Thursday. They went to a Pumpkin Patch and got to pick out a pumpkin. I didn't get to go with her because I had to work (Roy did go with her though), but a friend sent these cute pics of her class.

Pumpkin Patch

Emily and I went to a pumpkin patch Monday morning with all her friends. She really enjoyed picking out her own pumpkin and baby pumpkin for baby sister. We also picked some vegetables. She also saw some chickens and roosters at the end, which she loved!
