My brother Matt was in town from North Carolina this week with Herc! We got to see him earlier this week. Emily LOVED seeing Uncle Matt and Herc. We can't wait to visit him in July!

I also want to congratulate Matt and Neha who got engaged tonight (Friday!). We are all very excited to have Neha part of the family. She is finished with her residency and will be moving to NC in a couple of months! We can't wait to see the ring!!!!

1st Day at the Pool!

It was sunny and warm today when I left to go to the gym this afternoon. I brought our swimsuits to wear after I worked out. We were in there a little over 30 minutes and we had to get out due to a thunderstorm. :( She was not very happy at all. She absolutely loved the pool, so we will be there a lot this summer! Cita and Poppy showed up to watch her swim today just as we were getting out of the pool. We ended up having a great day shopping and eating at our favorite Mexican restaurant! It was a wonderful surprise today!

The Pouty Face

Emily is starting to give this pouty face a lot lately. It looks cute, but it is really starting to annoy me when she does it at gymnastics, etc. This is what I got when I asked for her to smile...

Brooklynn's birthday party

Emily went to a fun birthday party a couple of weeks ago for her friend Brooklynn. This is where she goes to gymnastics, so she really had a blast! I can't believe my baby's birthday is next!!!! She talks about her birthday all the time now. She wants a blue birthday cake and is so excited about it! I guess I better start planning it since it is a month away now...

By the way, I forgot to mention that Emily got a busted lip at Grandpa and Nana's house the day before this so you can see her poor lip and elbow boo-boos here. :(

We went to Nana and Grandpa's house a couple of weeks ago to celebrate Roy's dad's birthday. Aunt Rachel painted Emily's toes while we were there, then Nana put a flower toe ring on her. haha She LOVED it and is ready to have her toes painted again. She's definitely all girl!
