Lots of trophies!
3rd competition: Little Rock. They still did very well and won High Gold, 1st place for all dances. Her small group got selected again for a Special Judges Award, "Most Fun to Watch". I think I'm more excited about these special judges award b/c the judges only selected about 4 groups to create a special award.
80's dance at school!
Fundraiser at school: Flying Burrito!
As you can see, we have been VERY busy since the summer. A little too busy for my liking, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Emily has kept her grades up and is doing very well in school. It's hard to be so committed to dance at an early age. She goes to dance 3 days a week for 2 hours each day. She is very passionate about dance and has talent. She also is in Girl Scouts, Brownies this year. She loves all her Brownie Troop and tries very hard to fit it in our busy schedule. I think it's important for her to learn everything she is learning from the girl scouts, so I am trying to fit it in. I think we only missed a couple meetings b/c 1)sick or 2) at the dance convention. She really likes piano. It took a little adjusting at first, but she gets it now pretty quickly. Ella is trying out soccer this year. She likes it, not loving it. We will see! I need one of my girls to be into sports. haha! I think she'll be a dancer or gymnast, but trying to expose her to all things. Emily might try out softball this Spring IF I can fit it in. LOL
I was sick for over a month. I think I had the flu, then had a never-ending cough that turned into an infection. I finally got on antibiotics for a second time and it finally got rid of it. I also have been taking allergy medicine every day b/c the dr. thinks I have bad allergies. Spring hurry up! It's supposed to snow tomorrow, the last day of Spring Break!
