Happy 2011

We had a low-key New Year's Eve, which was fine with us after all the running around we did for Christmas.  We made tacos and cheese dip, as well as cookies!  Emily did not make it until midnight, but little Ella woke up right in time to give us kisses at midnight.  Happy 2011!

Another Christmas

We celebrated Christmas at my parent's house the Monday after Christmas because my brothers were going to be in town then.  Mimi and Aunt Katie also came up to join us!  We had a wonderful day of opening presents, eating a wonderful lunch, and being together!

Christmas day

 Emily got a fish tank!
We had to be at Roy's parents' house late Christmas morning.  We opened presents with Nana, Grandpa Roy, Uncle Blake, Aunt Rachel, and cousin Ava then had lunch with some of Roy's extended family.

Christmas morning

The girls must have been good this year because Santa came!  They were very excited to get the twin stroller + the Bitty Twins!  Emily has been asking for the twin stroller since before her birthday, then wanted the Bitty twins when we went to the AG store. Emily was also excited to get the Unicorn pillow pet!   Santa came through!  Ella got the dancing Mickey she wanted as well!  Plus, they got a few surprises as well.  Emily was excited to get a Taylor Swift Barbie that sings. :)

Christmas Eve

Cita and Poppy came up Christmas Eve.  We all went to the Children's Mass at the church.

We had a wonderful dinner and then we all danced to Christmas music.

We made Christmas cookies for Santa.
They got to open a couple of presents Christmas Eve from Cita and Poppy.

The girls went outside to put the reindeer food out.

We read "Twas The Night Before Christmas", then all went to sleep wondering if Santa would come the next day.

Christmas Playgroups

We had a playgroup at Brandon and Lexi's house the Monday morning before Christmas.  The kids had a great time and they made their reindeer food there.

Then, we had a few friends over from Emily's school/neighborhood to help decorate the gingerbread house village.  They had a great time as well!
