Playful Ella

Our little Ella is a little mischievous little girl with a great imagination!  She loves to play and wear our shoes.  It is too cute!  She is full of energy and lots of fun these days!

Ella's 1st day of Toddler Room

Ella started in the Toddler Room at the place where Emily went to preschool.  Ella had a great time this summer and she got into the program 2 days a week!  She is having a good time, but does have some "issues" with wanting her baby doll at all times.

First day of Kindergarten

Thursday, August 19th was Emily's first day of kindergarten.  Emily was very excited the first day of school, so that helped us.  I did get teary eyed, but handled it well (probably because I got my tears out at night).  She is having a great time and has a teacher with 26 years of experience!

Kindergarten Open House

Tuesday night before school started, we went to an open house at Emily's school where we met her teacher.  Maybe I was nervous or something, but I didn't get one picture in her classroom.  I did take some after it.  We joined the PTA and got Emily a school t-shirt.  I had tears in my eyes this night seeing her in the "big" school.  I hope I can hold it together the 1st day of school.

Last Day(s) of Summer

We enjoyed the last week before school started at the pool with our friends.  We had a wonderful at our neighborhood pool this summer.  I'm so sad it is over!  We may be able to go one more time this weekend before it starts getting too cold.

The WonderPlace

We met my parents and they drove to Little Rock with us for the day.  We wanted a fun thing to do before school started.  Emily wanted to visit Mimi, Aunt Katie, and Aunt Barbara.  We ate lunch with Mimi and Katie, then headed to the WonderPlace.  This is probably our 3rd time to come and they had a blast!  We went last summer and Ella was too little to do anything.  Well, this year she went nuts in that place.  Emily got a pass to go there for her birthday.  What a great gift, Aunt Neha and Uncle Matt!
