Touch A Truck

She got a fudge popsicle there!
She loved getting in the police car. :)

Go Hogs!
We went to the Junior League's Touch A Truck fundraiser last weekend. Emily had a lot of fun there! I would love to volunteer with this group, but maybe when the girls get older. It was windy that day, so Emily wasn't very cooperative in pictures.

Dance recital preview

Emily and her friend Lily. She was the only one left in their costume when I remembered I had my camera with me. :) They are going to be so cute! There are 10 girls in her class. They will do a tap and ballet dance.

checking herself in the mirror. We're in trouble!

Emily got her dance costume last week and they had their class pictures. She is going to look so cute in her recital! She has been practicing hard on her dances, so I know she'll do great. I'll just be happy if she doesn't cry up there.

4 Months Old!

I absolutely LOVE this picture of them! My 2 girls!!!
She has found her foot recently.

We brought out the exersaucer today on her 4 month birthday. I think she's getting bored in the bouncer and swing. Her feet barely touch the bottom, but she really enjoyed it!

Look at my little happy girl! She was crying right before this. haha

My little baby has turned 4 months old! It's hard to believe. She has her 4 month appt. next week, so I'll have more stats then.

Today also marked the one-year anniversary of when I found out I was pregnant with Ella. It is so neat that this is also her 4 month birthday! I know there was a time a few years ago that I would have one child and now I have two healthy children. I'm so blessed!

Mother's Day 2009

Silver Dollar City

We have been wanting to go to Silver Dollar City for a month, but the weather has been too rainy. I love the World Fest, but we didn't make it for it this year. They were between festivals right now, but it was still fun to go. The weather was actually pretty good. It sprinkled on us a couple of times, but it wasn't bad. The weather was very mild too. Emily wanted to ride the frog ride first. It wasn't the best to start out on b/c it is a very jumpy ride and let's just say, she did not like it. Thank goodness her daddy was behind her or she probably would have tried to jump out of the ride. She didn't ride any other rides except for the train (which she loved) and the mine ride. Maybe she will attempt the butterfly one next time. It was a fun weekend to celebrate Mother's Day too. Ella was so good for us too. She took naps in her carseat and we held her some so she could stretch. They have nursing stations there that were really nice when she needed to be fed. She did get a little cranky on the way home, but we made did it in one day!

School "Picnic"

Emily's school "picnic" was last Friday night. It was raining, so they held it inside. It would have been a great time except we had to seek shelter downstairs b/c of a tornado warning. After that was over, it ended up being a fun night. It's a big fundraiser for the school and my parents came up for it. I've never been to one before so I didn't know what to expect. They had a lot of neat things at the silent auction.

Thumb Sucker?

Ah, this is so cute! She's doing much better sleeping in her baby bed and this might be why! :)

We had a rough time last week. Emily became sick over last weekend and it lasted a few days. She was watching a movie and this is how she fell asleep. That is the Ella's boppy and blanket. This was hilarious. She's feeling much better, but still has a cough.
